Gotel

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20 NLT

Vision

“We are asking God for 65% of the least-reached people groups having at least 5% of their population following Christ and gathered into Disciple-Making Communities.”

What can you do to help us reach West Africans and see a gospel movement spread?

Listed below are the Gotel Projects. These guide how we will reach our community and provide us a roadmap for the future. Along with each project is listed the current status. In total we have about 85 Nigerians on staff working on these projects and we invite you to join us in Nigera.

Disciple Making Ministry – Provide the opportunity for each and every Christ-Follower to be involved in a discipling process and then to disciple others. We are currently developing this project.

Health Care – Provide high quality, holistic healthcare services with excellent patient care.  We operate a fully licensed hospital with 40 Beds. We have a fully-stocked pharmacy, functional lab, operating room, and labor & delivery room. We strive to address the spiritual as well as the physical. Even with 60 Nigerian staff we need additional space and staff to adequately address the growing demands.

LeadershipProvide a format for transforming Christian leaders with an injection of vision, skill development and inspiration for the sake of the local church. Several 2/3-day events are conducted during the year to teach Biblical leadership principles. We are working towards developing a program that can be taught on a weekly basis.

WomenProvide every girl and woman with ready feasible access to quality sustainable hygiene & health education, through access to lasting feminine hygiene solutions. We are manufacturing washable, reusable feminine hygiene products. This outlet has given us access to the most vulnerable, including Internally Displaced Persons (IDP’s) and refugees. We have been able to give health talks in schools both public and private, Christian and Muslim.

Children Love, Serve, and Shepherd the children and youth so that they are encouraged to choose an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ, to grow in relationship with Him, and to be equipped to live a life committed to serving Him.  AWANA Clubs are being led in over 25 churches. We have after school programs where we use Bible stories to teach reading and writing. Our staff has written a curriculum and formed health clubs in the schools, giving us access to vulnerable children.

Poverty Provide business training skills to help needy families and train individuals to develop small enterprises and become productive and self-sufficient. Currently we have the TTP (Technical Training Program). This program pairs a Master with an apprentice for a 1 to 3-year period of time as well as classroom time teaching Biblical Business Basics. Opportunities here are limitless. Trade skills they learn are; furniture making, tailoring, hair dressing, barbering, masonry, cell phone repair, welding, motorcycle repair, computer business center, general carpentry, auto body repair, knitting and we are always exploring other opportunities.

As the Initiative develops there will be needs. The first thing is we ask you to pray for the planning and progress as we move forward. Secondly, we are looking for additional people to join us in Nigeria and people that will help us build a Consortium in the U.S. to support the initiative. Thirdly, we are asking for your financial support to achieve this and you can give at www.gotelit.com.

If you have any other questions, please be sure to ask us.
